one friendship since high school.
wrote letters day after day.
told each other's problems to one another.
no secrets between them.
they gave gifts to each other.
they helped each other through life's challenges.
they talked about each other's love life.
they both became mothers.
one had a beautiful daughter, the other had a handsome son.
one day, they faced a trial.
it was a simple trial comparing it to others they have had before.
but they haven't talked since then. they haven't seen each other. they never called each other.
for whatever trial that was, is that that enough to end a friendship?
